The distinctive red and white light tower next to the former keeper’s house replaced the former “Three Sisters” individual lights in the 1920s. The tower itself was one of the two that were originally located at Chatham. It was moved to the Nauset site and has since been moved back from the eroding bluffs to where it is located now. The “Three Sisters” — squat little buildings, are now located on Cable Road and are maintained by the Cape Cod National Seashore Park.
